As the republicans live on dirty tricks, slimy tactics and outright lies fed to the country,and do so on a 24-hour-a-day, year 'round basis, I think the Dems and Liberals must take a more active stance and seize every opportunity to nail those bastards to their own lies. Non-stop. It does us no good to be polite and wait for appropriate occasions to speak up. The offensive against them must be carried on all the time, at every opportunity.
We have an excellent occasion coming up in about two months. What is it, I hear you say. It's the TWO-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!
Since that noble day, May 1, 2003, when Bush co-piloted a fighter plane to land on the USS Abraham Lincoln and declared MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, meaning that the war in Iraq was militarily won by us(hooray hooray), what has happened?
Well,it seems that the US has suffered an additional 1,498 soldier's deaths, and an additional 10,198 soldiers wounded.I obtained these figures from icasualties.org/oif.
The was is still on. The Iraqi terrorists(insurgents)are stronger than ever and making mince-meat of the Iraqi forces, not to mention the damage they're inflicting on our own forces,daily.
Let's celebrate this anniversary in style. Play it up every chance we get, and spread the news of Bush's idiocy, incompetence, and lies coupled with the facts and figures of his MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Ram it up his ass.

2. I absolutely agree-- we must be PRO-active.

I hope the Dems who are in leadership positions are aware of that. The repukes have pummeled us with false accusations, red herrings, and grossly unfair attacks. Just trying to keep up with that onslaught keeps us plenty busy. But if we were pro-active, we'd put those bastards on the defense, instead of letting them dictate what the issue of the day should be.

What the hell were you thinking? You thought it was all over? You mean to tell me the pentagon people thought there would be no insurgency, that the Iraqi people would just quit fighting because you were such a bad ass?

And then, a short time later you stood there and said; "Bring it on". Inspiring words, those. The problem is, you inspired the wrong people. How many of our boys have died since those words were spewed from your bloody pulpit?
