Democrats are terrorist car bombers!
Those are the words of Bush's former budger director and newly crowned Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels!

The first thing this POS did when he took office in January was to do away with collective bargaining for state employees. The next thing he did was try to raid the teachers' pension plan. Then he didn't like the Governor's mansion because it was not fitting for him and his ugly wife, they preferred a bigger mansion in a gated community outside Indianapolis. Now Daniels wants to establish a personal prosecutor, answerable only to him, that can go around the state and take over the prosecution of cases from local prosecutors at the whim of the governor. Daniels refers to this personal prosecutor as the State's "inspector general," which is as believable as when Bush mouths off words like "freedom" and "democracy" to describe war and oligarchies.

Well, the Indiana Democrats decided to fight Daniels with the same tenacity that the Gingrich Republicans caused trouble for Clinton. This is what led to today's Daniels outburst in which he compared Democrats to car bombers. Here is the story:

Daniels: House Democrats 'Car Bombed' Progress
Governor Blasts 'Throwback' Minority Leader For Walkout

POSTED: 12:57 pm EST March 2, 2005
UPDATED: 8:52 pm EST March 2, 2005

INDIANAPOLIS -- Gov. Mitch Daniels on Wednesday blasted House Democrats for refusing to vote on dozens of bills before a key deadline, saying they "car bombed" the state's "drive for growth and reform."

Daniels, reading a prepared statement at the Statehouse, said he believed Tuesday's floor boycott was planned from the start of the session.

"Indiana's drive for growth and reform was car bombed yesterday by the Indiana House minority," Daniels (pictured, left) said.

Daniels also took a swipe at House Minority Leader Pat Bauer, calling him a "throwback politician" who would put his party over jobs and reform.

1. I heard that today.
I couldn't believe it. If a democrat would have said something like that they would be drawing up papers for his impeachment.

2. And they gave me grief?
For pointing out that the most recent serial killer was a Republican??? At least that was a fact.

5. Daniels is responsible for the budget shortfalls that States experienced
when he slashed the money the feds used to give to the states. He is now blaming the Democrats for a mess he helped created. This is a Hoosier version of blaming Clinton.

Daniels is barely over 5 feet tall with a major Napoleonic complex.

Piece of work, alright!

4. When will Democrats learn they are in the Democratic party?
<snip>
Bauer was ill Wednesday and wasn't at a press conference held by House Democrats. But Rep. Russ Stillwell, D-Boonville, said Democrats had exercised their rights as the minority and representing their constituents.

"I'm offended that some people would call the leader of the Democrat caucus certain things when it's absolutely not true," Stillwell said. "Pat Bauer has served the state of Indiana admirably for 30 years."

7. The difference between Illinois and Indiana:
Carpetbagger Alan Keyes came to Illinois to run for senate. But the people there were smart enough to know what a danger Keyes was, and overwhelmingly elected his Democratic opponent.
Carpetbagger Mitch Daniels came to Indiana to run for governor. But the people there were too dumb to understand what a danger Daniels was, and elected him over a much more qualified Democrat.

8. Except for the blue counties in Indiana that voted for Kerry & Kernan
Indiana is blue up North, in its belly button (Indianapolis), and further South in the Bloomington area.

We need to get rid of the winner-take-all allocation of electoral votes!
