70.5% of Americans of voting age did not vote for Bush, or killing Soc Sec |
|
There are just over 200,000,000 Americans of voting age. Some don't register to vote. Of the rest, about 59,000,000 voted for Bush. That's 29.5% of the entire voting age population. The other 70.5% either voted for Kerry or simply stayed home.
That's pretty thin ice Bush is dragging his plan to loot and destroy Social Security over. I'm betting he cracks through.

1. Meaningless. You can't count non-voters as if they had voted NO. |
|
The non voters just didn't vote. Period.
Suppose Kerry had won and wanted to do X. Would you accept the Reps saying 70.5% of the people did not vote for X?
