Anyone watching Adel Al-Jebeir (Saudi) on C-Span?
He's the Saudi Foreign Affars Advisor to Crown Prince Abdullah.
I've been watching and listening tothis guy for the last year. He is a silver-tongued spokesman for the Saudi Regime.

he's talking about the lack of shortages in "physical" oil demand vs. the actual "reduced refinery" capacity and the relationship to price at the pumps in the US.

He's walking a fine line between US and Saudi policies. His line seems to be "it may cost more but we still plan to supply you with oil."

1. I've seen him before. He's an amazingly talented liar
And he gets extremely arrogant towards anyone who questions him or any of the Saud family. Baghdad Bob had nothing on this guy.

That's it exactly. No press secretary has ever been a more talented liar. He puts Scotty and Ari to shame. He is scary. He's not a typical Saudi in the way that we think of them. He is one slick Motherfucker.

3. Silver tongue is right...
that's a good way of describing him.

He could defend selling Evian to drowning men. Then, he would become indignant, if you questioned his actions.

I remember seeing this guy frequently on CNN, after 9/11.

He's a verbal con artist.

Why do we legitimize this weasel?

4. Interesting
I remember watching a documentary of one time they boycotted giving us oil. Would they ever do that again?
