1. NPR played snippets of Dubya blathering about -- |
|
-- one thing or another today and all I could think of was how much better I would feel if a President Kerry were in office instead.
John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry are public servants, and have been a long time.
Dubya has never been a public servant.

9. I also heard his name mentioned by the msm this morning, stating his |
|
opposition to *'s plans in regard to SSecurity, the latest nomination and other matters. Apparently Kerry said that the pres is hardly reaching out across the isle, like he's pretending to do, judging by his actions. It wasn't much but the announcer had some respect for K to her voice, and I liked it.:hi:

it's not like he didn't have a 4+ year "heads up" on the republican election game plan, and as president, Kerry would have had a much better platform to do good things..
This is the problem I see with most of the elected dems. They take elections one at a time, and always "look forward"..Republicans have a long-view and plan and scheme and plan some more. They have seen to it that they have all their ducks in a row EVERYWHERE.. They leave nothing to chance, or even to the whims of the voters (anyone really think that georgia flipped in a matter of hours in 02??)(or that the exit polls were that flawed in o4?)..
As long as our dem leaders are content to "get along to go along", we will remain the minority party.:( Minority party status will not allow us to really make changes in anything:(
