1. good. let's bombard the House next. I called all 3 Congressmen
but I will call House Rep again. Also got people at work and my family to call. My Mom is in WVa. She called Byrd, but will ask her to call him again and express herself. (Poor person answering that call!)

6. Both of my Senator are Demos...I emailed both of them before the
vote asking nicely for them to vote "no"...they voted "yes". I just got through emailing them again telling them that this vote would be remembered at election time. All I have is my big mouth and my vote and both will be very active in the future!!!

7. I emailed and wrote letters to mine and several others
Useless, obviously.

I didn't enclose a bribe, like the credit card companies do.

I hope there is a huge street demonstrationwhen the Hoiuse takes this up. I would go, if I could get there.

Most of us in this country are a paycheck or three from financial ruin, or if we get hit with a personal disaster like major illness or divorce.

We can't allow these fatcats to think they are remote from US and can get away with this thievery. Believe me, REAL PEOPLE have a much greater impact than letters.

Picket at the major media outlets--they are not helping citizens get their voices heard on this issue. We will boycott their financial industry advertisers, do they know this?

16. Me, plus I faxed other Senators who aren't my own
For my own state, it was an exercise in futility since they are Rs. But I also faxed others hoping they would buck up. Sadly, it didn't work at all.

Edited on Fri Mar-11-05 11:15 PM by AzDar
have NO CLUE that legislation like this has been passed. Some didn't believe me;they hadn't heard anything about it in the corporate media, therefore it didn't happen. Eventually, they will come to the realization that Bush & co. are bringing this country to ruin....one Bill at a time.
