The Ten Commandments and Social Security.
Am I the only one who finds it odd that the people who are so adamant about having the Ten Commandments on display in government buildings and the same ones who want to dismantle Social Security.

Whatever happened to "Honor thy Father and thy Mother?"

Or, will they display the abridged edition?

1. The ancient hebrew word for "Honor" when used in context
with "Mother and Father" obviously is synonomous with "Screw"

::sarcasm off::

3. And what about bankruptcy? Chapter 7 comes from Deuteronomy
I'm amazed the bible thumping Reshits aren't outraged over the immoral and atheistic efforts to curtail the release of debts spelled out in the bible:

Old Testament, Book of Deuteronomy (15:1-2) "Every seventh year you shall practice release of debts. This shall be the nature of the release: Every creditor shall forgive the due that he claims from his neighbor; he shall not dun his neighbor or kinsman."

What happened to family values? How can Evangelical Whacko America take the side of the corporations, when the very book they follow to guide their lives justifies the Chapter 7 "fresh start" for the discharge of debts every seven years?
