8. you'd be surprised how many people don't know
and I'm talking about people I otherwise judge to be informed.

The Walton fortune is simply staggering, and I'm sure most people have no idea who these people are, and how they throw around political donations. 5 people have nearly $100 billion dollars, yet they fight tooth-and-nail against minimum wage rising $2 over 5 years.

5. then you should feel good about buying a Mac
While Steve Jobs is a billionaire, he's not quite on the level of these guys (above).

Nonetheless, he's a solid Democratic supporter: http://www.newsmeat.com/ceo_political_donations/Steve_Jobs.php

I just saw the new $500 Mac last week. It is the best value out there, and cool as all get out. It's so small you could easily slip it under your jacket.

7. Does Wal Mart sell the Mini-Mac?
That would be one place I would actually be tempted to take a "5 finger discount" from.

9. No, that would mean they'd be selling a quality product...
...and Lord knows they are diametrically oppossed to pedaling anything other than crap.

6. What an interesting site - lots of pleasant surprises. Some generous folks

Not with the super-rich Waltons, no surprises there. But click on a few names on the ticker and there are some good people donating to good causes as well as candidates.

Edit: Eeewww! I KNEW Jerry Bruckheimer was a bushbot!

i remember he was angry at Clinton for the blow job thing but i thought it was just that i didn't know he was a true right winger.

14. I just love how Bill Gates supports everybody...
Reid, Dorgan, Clinton, Leahy, Murray, Daschle...
Dubya, Sessions, McCain, Blunt

And he gives to PACs and groups that support both parties...in the same week! He's got the political game down cold.

Great site. They've even got my name on their list :)
