"Someone up there needs to grow a spine and |
|
it better be soon ". That's what I told a Democratic Party fund raiser today when they called today. I have contributed money to the Party , Kerry and other Democrats through the years and will in the future , but today I am so enraged by the Democrats who voted for the Bankruptcy Bill that I said no contributions from me at this time .

I agree. The Dems have got to start sticking up for the common man instead of the corporate money.

2. Thanks . You put your finger on it . Democrats do not need |
|
to side with the GOP in its class war against the middle and working classes . I am not happy with rolling over on Presidential appointments but I can at least understand the logic . The only way I can explain a Democrat voting for the Bankruptcy abomination is the desire for contributions from the legitimate loan shark industry . If Democrats don't stand for the working person , they stand for nothing .

4. Well , if they are , they didn't read the whole post . |
|
My withholding funds is temporary , but money is what these guys understand and it is one way to send a message of significant unhappiness with a Congressional party that sometimes abandons core Democratic constituencies .

8. So? They rejoice at our every problem, large or small. |
|
They also applaud any petty thing they can get into the public arena, such as Kerry in windsurfing gear or hunting clothes, the Dean "scream," and flyers against McCain for his "illegitimate black baby." They're scum. We don't care what they think. And we have to hold the party to account, for the good of the party and the good of the nation.

7. When I told my caller the same thing, she read a canned response |
|
whether she wrote it hersel or the DNC wrote it for their fundraisers, it proves that it'smore than you and I saying it.
We should ALL say the same thing and, even more imprtantly, tell them they'll get some money when they fire the spineless losers who have wasted hundreds of millions over the last three elections.
