My modest suggestion for a possible anti-Bush mantra |
|
to be used where appropriate by those who would feel inclined.
"May god forgive you. We don't."
Lol, it's an off the top of my head kind of thing that came to me while I was posting on another message board.
I was posting in regards the proposed drilling in Alaska and I touched on what I saw as the hypocrisy of Bush, a man who touts traditional biblical values, who as president and as a self proclaimed very religious man should be exerting the role of a steward over our nation.
It struck me as just how hypocritical and antithetical to many biblical values this administration has acted on so many issues.
If a number of religiously minded people should find themselves together at a Bush protest perhaps they should consider this or a similar chant.
Our nation does have some traditional values that are both timeless and in line with the scriptures of many faiths.
While I'm a believer in a strong separation of church and state and I take that so far as to strive to keep anything resembling proselytizing out of my political discourses I think the case of president Bush is truly an eminent prospect for an exception to that rule due to his numbingly blatant hypocrisy.
