I just donated and am asking....ok begging anyone that can spare a few extra dollars to please donate to Tim Kaine's bid for governor in November.
His opponent, Jerry Kilgore, is a scumbag of the highest order (eavesdropping) and currently has a 46% to 36% lead over Kaine according to Survey USA. Kilgore also abandoned his elected post as Att. General so he could start fundraising early. He has proven he is untrustworthy and is cut from same cloth as George (beat his wife) Allen and Jim (nearly busted the state) Gilmore.
I implore you to please contribute whatever you can. Every little bit helps.

Editor, Times-Dispatch: Regarding the article, "Potts Bid Spotlights GOP Divide":
That's absurd, because Russ Potts was one of the handful of Republicans who last year voted for Governor Mark Warner's tax increase, and as chairman of the Senate Education and Health Committee has cast the deciding vote to continue allowing abortion-on-demand.
The Potts candidacy will hurt Tim Kaine more because Kaine and Potts agree on almost every issue. This will help Jerry Kilgore, who is on the right side of the majority of Virginians who believe in being anti-tax, pro-gun, pro-life, etc.
That is why the Republican Party -- both the conservative and moderate factions -- is solidly behind Kilgore, because he is the right leader in the mold of John Warner, George Allen, and Jim Gilmore, who can lead Virginia in the right direction.
If I were Potts, I would resign from the State Senate to escape all the humiliation. Ricky Dale Dunford. fieldale.
