Does Air America Radio carry Amy Goodman's "Democracy Now"?
Do the Pacifica affiliates have some kind of exclusive on "Democracy Now"?

It would seem like a good program for Air America Radio.

2. Hey, RFPI's back!
When did that happen?

Regarding Democracy Now!, I don't think I've heard them on any commercial station. We get them on our community owned and operated station, WORT, and WYOU, local public access TV, but I don't think I've ever heard Democracy Now on a station that ran commercials (as opposed to having 'program sponsors' like PBS, which WORT has).

3. I don't think they do
It would be cool to have them on there. At least on a Saturday or Sunday. Would be cool.

5. RFPI is streaming on the web and working on getting back on
shortwave, hopefully sometime this year.

I had a hard time pulling it in, for some reason when it was on, but maybe I'll have better luck when they get back on the air..

And,no, RFPI isn't on any of our domestic AM or FM stations....it's strictly over the air via shortwave, when it's on.

7. Yes, it could, but the economics of it may not work out in all markets. And
it will also kill AM radio at the same time!! Supposedly, they're supposed to work things so there is no interference on the AM and Ham bands.

We'll see. In the meantime, I love my shortwave, it's all that I listen to other than the internet streams of Malloy, Rhodes, etc.
