NY Congressman Calls on ABC and Good Morning America to Drop Wal-Mart as Sponsor
28 March 2005

Congressman Anthony Weiner of NY is holding a rally tomorrow morning outside of ABC's Good Morning America studio in NYC, calling on ABC and Good Morning America to drop Wal-Mart as a sponsor of it’s patriotic-themed "Only in America" series.

this issue.

I love it. I love HIM. Finally a NY Dem whose thinking reflects Democratic Party principles.

I think you may have just broken out of a rather undistinguished ( and indistinguishable), Congressman.

8. Alas... it drags on thru the primary in September....
all the way to NOV...unless they've tampered with the rules since last time.

In a way it's good as it gives a low profile and low $$$$ dark horse like Weiner a chance to get "known". Extra difficult now, since NYC infotainment media ( the electronic media, anyway) don't cover the mayoral race at all really, and it's all about who can buy the most tv time.
