Why do Republicans hate Animals so much?

Go get the dictionary. Ok? Got it? Look up the word: Anthropocentric. Right, not only you learned a new word, you have learned how fanatical Christian and Muslims think. Fundamentalist Christians believe that men are the dictators of Women, Children and Animals because that’s the way God wants it. Somewhere in the Kings James Bible there is vague reference that men shall have dominion over the creatures of the earth. This bible verse has been the rationale of hurting, hunting and torturing animals. The bible has been the rationale of slavery, ruining the environment, and subjugation of Women, and Gay bashing. The Christians in the Bush administration are not mainstream Christians. They are fanatical Christians who believe in the rapture.
There are stories when Bush was a young lad, he use to go to pet shops to buy fogs. He’d take them home and torture them. Not surprising. When young boys tortures helpless creatures, it’s a sign that they will grow up to be evil assholes.
Around December 2003, Vice president Dick Cheney went hunting in Pennsylvania. This hunting trip was sponsored by, “The Safari Club International”. This is an old exclusive hunting society that caters to rich WASP. They are responsible in hunting ENDANGERED species. Like the White Tiger. They violate international animal protection laws. How do they get away with it? They are rich and can afford lawyers.
During Cheney’s hunting trip, they had Pheasants in a cage. They released the birds from the cage and Cheney being the macho man he is, shot 11 of those helpless birds. What a man! On that trip, Cheney met fellow Safari member, Mathew J. Hogan. They told anti-Jewish jokes and became the best of friends. Guess what happened? President Bush appointed him to be the director of U.S Fish and Wildlife department. That is like appointing David Duke to the Jewish Federation Council.
The meat industry gave millions to the Bush/Cheney campaign last year. They own slaughter houses across the nation. Most of them have been sited by inhumane treatment of Animals by various departments in the Federal government. Because of the vast campaign contribution to the GOP, The Slaughter houses have been getting away with torture. Why hasn’t this cunt been impeached yet?

It just comes down to that. I don't care if it's the sweet old lady up the street. I think it's a character flaw and a lack of morality. If you'd kill an innocent animal, you'll kill a human, too, if it was legal.

Besides, animals teach us the most important lesson of life: live in the now. Humans spend so much time worrying about the future or fretting about the past while we waste the only moment we have, which is now.

it's that they see them simply as commodities. Animals to them, have no intrinsic value. They see animals as useful or valuable only insofar as they can be exploited by human beings.
