according to MSNBC poll 63% of Americans
Edited on Tue Mar-29-05 04:40 PM by saracat
say they don't have enough information on Shiavo's medical condition! What more could they know? Are people beginning to buy the spin?
One poster wrote that they thought the Doctors were "hiding" something! Can you imagine? Link-

2. I Don't Think They Would Believe She's Past Help...
if you handed them her brain on a platter. Even when the autopsy is done, they'll counter with something.

They're CRAAAAZZSZZYYYY!!!

Everytime I think I've seen it all, Boink they do another little "monkey trick"! Words can no longer describe what is going on!

(the address of which escapes me but I got it from a poster here at DU) and learned more about this case in 15 minutes than 90% of the talking heads I've seen on TV pontificating. The cablenets have deliberately done a horrid job in educating people about this case.

12. Last Saturday morning over 4 cups of coffee I read almost the whole site
The most amazing part of this story is how half reported (on purpose) and message crafted it is.

4. They're Getting Conflicting Signals
On one hand, they're seeing video clip which almost make her look lucid. On the other, they're hearing she's brain dead or in a permanent vegetative state. That would lead people to respond that they don't have enough information. It shows most people are not being partisan or doctrinaire.

Personally, I don't feel as if I have enough information, either. I don't see how she can possibly be conscious at all. But I don't see how someone with 70% of her cortex missing can respond the way she apparently does, either.

15. MSM Spin!
Edited on Tue Mar-29-05 07:48 PM by Jeff in Cincinnati
The lead in nearly every story during the past two weeks as been a variation upon "Terri Schiavo's family lost another round in court today in the attempt to save their daughter's life."

What if they'd been hearing: "Michael Schiavo won a twentieth straight court decision today, denying his meddling in-laws' attempt to deny his wife a dignified death."

The MSM is whoring this for all its worth. Mrs. Schiavo's death has become a farce because five media companies have decided that the "right to privacy" doesn't extend to people whose gut-wrenching person tragedies are commercially lucrative

6. Probably freeped.
The scam backfired. Notice you are hearing nothing from our feckless leader, and his brother has backed way off. Bush and Congress approval rating are in the toilet. They screwed up big time.

BTW, can you post the link?

9. They should have added "to pass judgment in this case"
NONE OF US HAVE ALL THE FACTS! Of course people are going to say they don't know everything -- what's sick is if the MSRNC shills interpret this to mean that people think "something is awry" (which is totally wrong).

10. It's a trick question.
Anyone who's trained in test-taking knows that a statement containing "all" or "never" is usually wrong. It's too absolute.

11. It's no ones business but the family's.
What the hell makes people think they are entitled to "all of the facts". Seems like a sneaky, under handed question to tweak public opinion.

13. Call on Congress to repeal HIPAA immediately ..
.. so that those 63% of Americans can get more info on Terri Schiavo's medical condition. Release her medical records to Fox News. Then we will get the truth. :eyes:
