My Repub mother is fed up with the Schiavo b.s.
She got an e-mail from some freep type person and she e-mailed all of the people and set them straight.

I told her I was proud of her. Now, hopefully, she'll get fed up with the rest of their bullshit.

1. My ex-Repub mother is more glad than ever that she quit the GOP
They sent her a solicitation for money last week. She told them she'd consider it if they first get rid of Tom Delay and the other far-right wackos.

2. She should be! Especially if a 10 year old child of a convicted
sexoffender is protesting outside of the hospice!
Raping is ok apparently!

3. We had a long talk this weekend about it
My mother couldn't understand how everyone had slightly different sets of facts. I told her all the facts that I knew (thanks to www.abstractappeal.com )

She might just be waking up to the lies that are coming out of the TV.

4. Quick question
Isnt the death penalty euthanasia?? I read a report that over 100 cases of people on death row since the 70's has been overturned by some kind of new evidence, obvisouly some people are still getting killed by the government even though they didnt deserve it, which is a form of euthanasia. The amount of hypocrisy that comes out of this administration is astounding, such as Bush making a law when he was governor to allow doctors to make descions over the family, make up your mind, give me a fucking break. Ok Im too pissed to continue...

7. True
But Im just making a point, even if they are quilty its euthanasia, and if not than yes it is a lot worse, and its something this country should look into, Im glad we arent going to kill any more children, though Bush did seem to have fun going on vacation to the executions, do we still kill retarted people, does any one know??

6. my rush limbaugh-fan father in law thinks the government had no business
getting involved in this. He still buys into the "Michael Schiavo has a conflict of interest" BS -- I reminded him that virtually every person that makes a decision to shut off a respirator or to discontinue essential care is a beneficiary of the patient's estate and/or will (since it typically is a parent/child/spouse). Don't they all have a "conflict of interest"?

8. My conservative father
said that the republicans have gotten so arrogant that it's time or a regime change. I almost passed out.
