I just joined the ACLU because of you, Bill O'Reilly!

I have him on the AM radio right now, I don't know why... but I am glad I do because he has gotten me SO mad in bashing the ACLU and he just said that "ordinary Americans are leaving the ACLU when they realize what they're all about." Well, Mr. O'Reilly, thanks to you and SOLELY to you... they just signed up another ordinary American who is able to make this donation because he (me) just got a second part-time job in addition to my full-time job.

I joined the ACLU last year as well because I just plain got fed up listening to totally clueless cretins bash the ACLU.

I love whipping out the membership card when people, like those mentioned above, start spewing their vitriol about the ACLU. It usually shuts them up in a big hurry.

I joined 1n 1988, the day after Bush Sr. ridiculed Michael Dukakis for his ACLU membership. Frankly, I was embarassed that I wasn't a member. Been a card carrier ever since.

15. ACLU should use Dild O'Reilly for marketing.

The last time I watched his 'Spin Zone' he was railing against the ACLU, and this was before the Iraq war. He was so pompous and vile that I got up and googled ACLU. Punched in their website and joined on the spot. The ACLU should send out flyers saying 'we are the only thing standing between your rights and Dild O'Reilly'. I bet their membership would triple.
