DNC called tonight begging for money |
|
The nice lady said they were calling all Dems in California to try and raise $5 Mil over the next month.
Told her I was retired and couldn't pledge the $50. She asked for a lesser amount, and I told her no.
But I said I would continue to write LTTE and e-mailing my congressional reps.
She thanked me for that support and said good night.

...so I could tell them Ill start donating again when I see them grow some nads. Until then, its individual donations to representatives that take a stand on important constitutional issues.

2. Was it mostly money issues that had you saying no |
|
or are your issues with the party. Did you mind them calling? Well, I suppose you've answered that question with your heading, what with the emphasis on begging and all.
I waited until my taxes came in, then gave $25 to the DNC nationally, another $25 to join the local Dem Party, and a third $25 for the Dem Victory fund in Wisconsin. And that's probably all they're getting outta me this year. Not rich either.
