The Sanctity of the Marriage Contract remains intact
The Florida Courts, the Appeals Court, and the USSC have upheld the honor, dignity, privilege, right, and responsibility of two people who have entered into a legal contract of marriage with the state to speak for the other as shown in the Schiavo matter.

This has done more to preserve the honor and dignity of marriage than any bill Bush or the Republicans have proposed. In fact, with their actions on Schiavo, they are defacing this sanctity.

I think that's true. What we can depend on the other bunch for is to undermine the family with as much corporate-oriented legislation as possible. Interesting that the highest divorce rates are in the far-right states.
