DNC Blog Kicking Ass!

Yesterday, on his way off the deep end, Tom DeLay threatened the judges that played a role in the Schaivo case when he said: "The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior."

<snip>

His grandstanding, probably a function of his desire to change the subject from his pervasive corruption, did nothing more than divide a country already saddened by Terri's loss.

5. The writer's name is Josh McConaha and I like this passage:
"He's (DeLay's) disregarded the law and disrespected the judicial process so often in the past that we shouldn't be surprised. But to tell the judges who handed down over 30 similar decisions that they'll have to "answer for their behavior" is a dangerous and questionable tactic for a man who, I'm sure, will soon appreciate the protections of the courts. He may not like the law, but nobody - Republicans or Democrats - should be willing to stand idly by as he launches a partisan, political attack on the courts and judges that enforce it."
