Can we all agree on one point?
We might disagree on candidates, but can we all here agree to never speak badly of a candidate's spouse?

3. Of course
I have a lot of respect for your guy's wife, always have and always will, I was told that a CSPAN caller called her a dog, Ive seen Mrs. Dean before and shes not an ugly person physically and on the inside definely not, I respect her indepedence and career. Our candiates' wives are like our candiates, all great women but different people. My one candiate doesnt have a wife :D.

Not even a blip on my radar. Heck, I don't even diss Laura Bush. Don't praise her either, but whatever.

7. But but but
I still get to call Pickles a Stepford wife don't I?

She is the wife of a candidate. I saw on the news tonight that Bush is now 100% in campaign mode (as if he ever was out of campaign mode).

9. No kidding. Attacking the family is just so low and indecent behavior.
For anybody, let alone Democrats.

17. I agree
She is not setting policy. She doesn't control Bush's actions.

13. If they aren't stumping independently

If they are "standing by their man" then they are "civilians" in mob parlance. They are off limits.

Hillary Clinton set herself up as an object because she stumped independently of Bill. She became a "combatant".

Who would even want to attack the Democratic wives? I think they're all great: some even better than their husbands!

It will be easy, since the spouses of the candidates are so lovely. (and George H.W. Bush isn't a candidate for anything. ;))
