Graham suggests DeLay's probs may create "cocktail for disaster."

Now his own party speaking out -- Bugman in big trouble.

Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) says Democrats suffered major setbacks in the 1990s when an ethics-challenged leader -- House Speaker Jim Wright (D-Tex.), who resigned in 1989 -- became a larger symbol of his party than its platform issues. "That's a cocktail for disaster," Graham said. If a political leader's personal problems are coupled with "some policy decisions that are disconnected to the public, then you've got an opening" for trouble, he said. "If we don't watch it, it could happen to us."

4. Correction, it's a "mass injestion of Cool Aid for disaster."
Graham should become an independent. He wants to, he's in touch with his early roots in poverty, he likes the attention. As far as I'm concerned, he is now "the best of the worst," the top Republican.

14. Was Brown the one who said out of Iraq now or was that another repub?
I thought someone from NC, a Republican, said we should get out of Iraq now.

Tis the season to be merry!

18. No...she was the one who wanted us to exhume our military
from cemeteries in France when the French did not support our invasion of Iraq.

She came out against Congress getting involved in the Shiavo drama which was a surprise to say the least.

5. DEMS to DeLay: "Go under oath or resign"
Every DEM should be on TV every night demanding he "go under oath or resign."

They would never do that, of course. But repubs were not too scared to do it it to us in the 1990s.

7. It's about damn time the MSM is paying attention
to something that a freeper has/is and will do. It may be for the only reason that as long as DeLay remains active, it could mean a big red check for the Repukes.

Now all that needs to be done is a concrete link between DeLay and Gannon.

22. Good for Graham.
Despite his party affiliation, the guy is a pretty independent guy, perhaps of the same stock as Senator McCain. Graham actually came out defending Edwards' career as a trial lawyer last year, when most Republicans were just salivating over the prospect of attacking our candidates.
