5. Dem strategists: pay attention.

The mediamatters timeline reveals a disgusting, obscene, scary pattern of media misinformation that endangers democracy itself.

But, man, do they have the system down! The complete fabrication of distortions and the speed and effectiveness of distribution is truly amazing. If I weren't so entirely disillusioned and cynical about how conservative politics and media have mated in an unholy union, I would express some admiration of the cleverness and effectiveness with which their propanda machine operates.

They somehow controlled the debate on the AWOL memos (remember that the content was accurate even IF the memo was not authentic) that victory laid the groundwork for spinning and disclaiming almost any subsequent bad info that comes their way!

They fabricate and do a great job spreading the lies.

Why can't the dems spread the TRUTH with equal or even greater determination and power? Let's take a lesson here that this is serious business and you have to frame, spin, and get out there with a message!

Are dems in charge lazy or do they not care? Either way, it allows the GOP and minions an INVULNERABLE position of controlling public perception to a dangerous degress. Don't see it changing soon.

6. Yeah, what is that saying

about a lie traveling all the way around the world before the truth gets it's shoes on? I'll post it here again, also, if anybody can get their hands on the video of Mel Marinez on Fox News Sunday just after the news of this talking points memo broke, it is very revealing to see the expression on his face when asked about the memo. I hope somebody with the means/ability is working on it.

7. Why doesn't David Brock mention that Brian Darling is connected to Delay?

He says "an aide to Martinez." He was a legal counsel to Martinez and is much more than that....

Maybe he was just focusing on the Media Lies instead of Darling, but still folks need to know this wasn't just a 20 something year old intern who wrote the memo. :shrug:

9. Here's the difference between the dems and rethugs

Look at the steps. We have every resource available to us that the rethugs do, with the exception of the washington times.

We have blogs, we have surrogates on shows, we have magazines. What we don't have are people able and willing to undertake the process. And that's why we lose.
