What do Bush voters say behind closed doors ?
Are they ashamed they voted for the doofus? Are they in denial? Do they still blame all the problems on the Democrats? Do they still think Bush has brought honor and integrity to the White House? Would they vote for him again?

3. Have you ever watched TBN? Check it out right now.

They are being brain washed and believe that Bush is almost as good as God himself.

They're having a Praise-a-Thon and talking about how God helped Bush win. Pastor Rod Parsely is talking about Ohio and how he was there on election day to make sure that morality won on election day.

It's really scary stuff.

8. So Rod Parsely programmed the Diebold tabulators for Blackwell?
Did you videotape this confession? Parsely is the biggest dominionist piece of shit on that network. He openly mocks the seperation of church & state and calls for a dominionist theocracy. I'd love to see that piece of shit thrown in prison for voter fraud.

10. I didn't tape it. I also saw an advertisement for a show he's doing with
Alan Keyes and Ann Coulter.

I love to watch TBN. It's very entertaining.

15. Has anybody looked into that?
Maybe he is behind something. Who knows. These people are so high on power they don't think of what they're saying. Sure, call me a consperiacy theorists but I'm suspecious of every one of them.

16. Rod Parsely is one of my favorites
he is the only guy i have seen who can insult people openly and then say "praise jesus" after the insult to make it seem harmless.

example: "i love my congregation, even the stupid people, bless their heart, praise jesus!"

5. So who are these people?
I know, maybe 7-8 people that are Republican....only 1 I know says he voted for Bush. Hmmmmm. Let's say out of the other 6, 3 were being untruthful...they really did vote for Bush....that still leaves 25-30% of my small sample that didn't vote for him....so how did Bush get 90+% of all Republican votes?

Seems to me that Republican registered voters would be the easiest ones to steal......

7. in 2008 like in 1988 & 1992....
you will be hard pressed to find a bush voter....
just as on it was hard to find a reagan or bush voter in past elections...

I have often wondered how many people openly admit voting for Nixon?

My Big Mac is a gittin' cold. <click, click, click, click> Finally, Bass Masters, a cold Bud, and a big burger. Uhhhmmm...What...Damn it I told you not to interupt me while I'm fixin' to watch the T.V.
And the damn light bub' burnt out again. Well it ain't gonna replace itself. Fuck.

On edit: I'm pretty sure most don't even ponder such things.

13. Funny, I heard something very close
Edited on Fri Apr-08-05 01:10 PM by paineinthearse
I was on terminal leave from the military, traveling down the west coast and staying at the guest lodge at Fort Ord. Through the paper-thin walls I heard some redneck scream "get me a sandwich, woman!".

I presume it was on white bread with mayo.

for too many than people I care to remember.

edited to add: I don't mean to put all Bass Masters watchers, Big Mac eaters, or Bud drinkers in the same category. It just seemed to fit the moment. I think maybe the intersection of all three increases the odds though.

12. mostly denial

Don't forget, these aren't the brightest bulbs. Some of the smarter ones are hitting the bargaining, anger, and depression bits.

I do think people have caught on to the images of death and decline the GOP has surrounded itself with as somehow symbolic.

Give it time. The GOP has very little left in resentments left to exploit.

18. Oh, they're still out there Kentuck
Here in my neck of the woods - still proud, and still boastful. One Bushbot just told me it was a badge of honor for Bush to be booed in Rome. He followed that up by saying Clinton would get a ticker tape parade in Iran. There are many more just like him that I have to face everyday.
