FYI: Lieberman and the "nuclear option"
A few days ago there was an article posted which quoted Lieberman as saying that he had "no opinion" regarding the threatedn "nuclear option."

Today I called his office and the aide said that he indeed is AGAINST it and, in fact, signed onto to the message delivered by Reid et al and the 1 million signatures.

The aide wanted to know where, and I said I recalled it was a print source about a constituent meeting of some sort. The aide said sometimes it's Lieberman's "rhetoric" that can be misconstrued.

While I didn't buy that, I did check out the website as suggested and here it is:

2. Yes and I told the guy that while he has a decent voting record
in the past, some of his votes have moved him too close to the Republicans. I said that for someone like me, over 50, to see what's going on after all we've been through, is very alarming. I said that this is our last hope of checks and balances, and there's no way any Dem should vote with Repugs on this.

4. I'd expect him
To be with us on this issue, on most domestic issues hes with us, its the foreign policy issues where his voting leaves much to be desired.

5. Ben Nelson too is apparent;ly no opinion.
I thought that all Democrats had signed a letter saying they opposed the nuclear option. This is what Reid has been saying for weeks now. I just hope he has his troops well in hand.
