Is Bush snubbing the W.A.S.P. vote by not going to the Royal Wedding?
Or can he not do two formal functions in a week? Can Laura?

4. When has that ever stopped him?
He wasn't invited to the MLK birthday ceremonies so he invited himself (and picked up $2M for making the trip).

5. Could be the "weird cousin" thing
They had enough "hiccups" with that thing as it was, W being there probably wouldn't have helped any.

3. Tony probably asked bush to stay away (elections in May)
and Charles and Camillia breathed a sigh of relief...

6. It won't cost
him a single vote. He can't run again. Even if he could, only a fool would vote, or not vote, for somebody for that reason.

8. The Groom's mother wouldn't even go...
and, supposedly, it was because she was a head-of-state, and that would take away the "low-key"-ness of it. I don't think the Queen wanted this to be an official British function -- just a family party.

Anyone see Camilla's hat? Where do the Brits get these things?

9. LOL!
Camilla's hat was the most interesting part of the event.

10. But will he attend Rainier's funeral Friday?
Naaaah. Someone might speak French there. And besides, they're pretty low ranking Royals. Maybe he'll send the missus. She seems to like these things and she doesn't have much else to do.

12. He needed to get back to Crawford
and sleep in his own beddie-bye. Can't you just picture him in a pair of presidential seal footed pajamas?
