CNN online poll question RE: bankruptcy is GROSSLY slanted
Do you think people abuse the bankruptcy laws? Yes or no.

They want to make it look like if you believe that if some people abuse the system than you support the bankruptcy law.

1. You're right. Best to not vote. No matter what you do, they are going to
twist this to say that Americans support the theft of a right.

2005 will go down in history - American is going down - thanks to many Dems.

or corporations like K-Mart, Enron and MCI. Those types are really the ones that profit. Joe Shmoe from down at the chicken plant, what can he take the credit card company? A couple of grand at most? What's 10 or 20 thousand compared the millions and billions the corporate greed monsters take their creditors for?

3. A meaningless question
far too ambiguous to generate trustworthy numbers, IMO.

Change bankruptcy to arson, pollution, or self abuse, and you would still get bad numbers.

4. Fricking propaganda
ABI studies estimates that 3% abuse the system, and that could easily be fixed by closing homestead exemption loopholes for zillionaires, and funding the u s trustees office to move to convert high income earners to Chatper 13 from chapter 7.

All the studies show this whole 'abuse' thing is a scam by the credit card companies to rape ordinary middle class folks who get in a financial bind they can't extricate themselves from.

Fuck CNN and the troll it rode in on
