Hillary Clinton DU Group? |
|
Anyone here interested in a group whose purpose is:
to discuss the life, career, and accomplishments of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton; to discuss her upcoming Senate re-election campaign and future political prospects; to provide a home-base for those wishing to combat the smear campaign against her and her husband; and to discuss media articles about Senator Clinton.

I just sent her office an email regarding this business of the Republican Party claiming to speak for God.

They only report every day in one way or another that she WILL be the nominee and that all democrats are just googly-eyed in love with her.

|
According to the DU rules, I have to have ten donors sign on. So far I have mourningdove92, Catchawave, RowdyBoy, Goldeneye, WesDem, and WI_Dem. So I need for more people to sign on and then I have to get approval from the administrators; I am confident that we will get the group though. :) Thanks everyone who was signed on so far, it is good to know that Hillary has some friends/supporters on DU.

We need a concentrated effort to be effective against the RW machine that will go berserk if she runs.
How much does one have to contribute to DU to count? I am semi-retired and on a very fixed income but I might be able to help.

28. Unfortunately Hillary also needs defending here on DU. |
|
Republicans attack her, but I think she gets a raw deal here too. I'd like to have a DU group where we can discuss Hillary's record and have a repository of information on her, so that maybe DUers will see her in a better light.

I mean, if we can't build a support system...via DU Groups...for our fav Dems, how else will we build our Party?

I probably won't participate, but she is one of the most staunchly pro-choice voices we have in the Senate and she deserves some support for that alone.

I really respect and admire Hillary. The Smear campaign is just outrageous, expecially with the likes of Tom Delay deciding who is moral and who is not.

I also agree with your original post being the mission statement.
Will be checking DU groups daily. The mods are pretty fast around here. When I proposed the DIY/Home Improvement/Crafts group, they got it up and going a day or so after I submitted our mission statement.
I am looking forward to enlightening, productive, conversations about a woman I greatly admire.
