Are you happy now, RW red-staters-Bush-supporters?
Anyone watching Lou Dobbs tonight has got to be shaking their heads.

The RW-Christian-neocon-PNAC-conservative cabal has sold America the biggest heap of horse shit of any administration.

The Dow is at early year lows and sinking rapidly, the economy is slumping, the Hillary-haters had their way AGAINST healthcare reform to the end that our healthcare system is about to bankrupt middle America, a bankruptcy law has been passed by Congress that will make it almost impossible to for Americans hit the hardest by medical care costs and loss of employoment to get out from under massive debt, inflation is marching upwards (and no one is talking about it--real scary), oil prices are out of sight (and Cheney still has not released those energy documents), thnaks to the religious right, the government is not not only in your bedroom they are under your sheets, you can't even die a natural death without Congress raising hell, credit card companies are operating at will at interest rates the Bible considers "usuary" (and no one in Congress gives a shit), oil companies are making record PROFITS while the prices at the pump are unnecessarily high for consumers, America is hated in almost every country in the world by the people of that country, we are still having our soldiers killed by continuing an illegal occupation of a nation that never was a threat to us, and the Republicans are threating the one Federal system that has helped so many Americans (Social Security), and with the blessing of this administration, more and more jobs are being exported while protecting the cheap labor of illegal-immigrant workers, and the freedom of the press is an illusion surpassed only by the illusion of "America is as a democracy."

So how will or how do Rush and Hannity spin all of this so as to make their brainless followers believe that Bush is the best thing that has happen to this country since sliced bread? Beats me.

1. It's not who says what. It's who believes it.
I refuse to make any other comments on this issue. There's enough surrounding evidence to prove my point.

7. Jimmy Carter is a real Christian
and being a real Christian isn't easy.

People didn't want to walk the walk the way Carter does. They just want to pretend to be Christians the way Bush does. It's easy to be the kind of Christian that Bush is.

Do you know the power of gay people getting married compared to the nuclear aftermath of a war in The Middle East?

Oh, the horror!

33. But is that even true?
JohnnyJimmyJeff was blowing somebody in the White House to get the kind of access he had. It may or may not have been Junior, but just the thought of a homo in the White House at all should be enough to make the rabid religious reich go completely batshit.

But of course the corporate whore of Babylon media has all but ignored the story, so the Freepazoids remain ignorant, and not just in all the usual ways.

12. Terrific post.
You nailed it. Tell me please what kind of country we`ve become when we can condone a tax cut for a CEO making $23,000,000 a year at the same time we send soldiers to war without steel reinforcement on their Humvees? Who are we when we can watch Congress fly away for their Renaissance weekends at the same time the recruiters are scouring every poverty-stricken neighborhood in the land? Who are we that we can build umpteen gazillion gated communities at the same time we`re planning on which neighborhood to store the nuclear waste in? How can we, in good conscience allow thousands of homeless veterans to rot on the streets at the same time just about every SUV on the road is a traveling flag factory? How on earth can we watch as busloads of senior citizens ride to Canada to buy the pills they can`t afford here? We should hang our heads in shame for what we`ve become.

and the sad part is the rethugs aka freepers don't care. I know, because I used to argue with them on another board and their mantra was "'* is so cute, just like a cowboy and just like gawd'" and "'people in the U.S. need to have "personal responsibility" and not ask for so much help from the government.'" :eyes: It was UNREAL! They have not a clue what being a true Christian is. Trust me, they made fun of Jimmy Carter which made me sick to my stomach. And oh yeah, if you said one thing against "their president" they threatened you with lines like: "I will fight my enemies foreign and domestic"-meaning me and anyone who protested against the * regime. :grr:

Real nice people-NOT!!! :puke:

God, the power of self-delusion is limitless for some.

I'm PROUD to be a liberal and I'll go to my grave feeling that way. Those who don't get it are living in a dream world.

14. Yet the facts don't matter.
The Repugs will just continue find unimportant issues for uniformed Americans to rally behind.

The Democrats have to assume Bush will start another war, or there will be another terrorist attack to rally behind by 2006 and certainly by 2008.

All the Republican campaign has to do is convince voters of one thing that makes none of the important facts matter to them.

Democrats, no matter how RIGHT they are, still have to learn salesmanship.

16. But I am constantly amazed . . .
whenever something new breaks like this, I am amazed at the lack of outrage of the general public. All during 2001 to 2004, I just kept thinking after every latest W fiasco, "now this is when the outrage starts." And it never did. Stuff that if Clinton had done it would have had him executed by a firing squad in the Rose Garden didn't seem to rile anyone when W did it.

Has anyone noticed parallel rise in Prozac prescriptions and the rise in Republican power during the 1990s and on?

18. The problem is...
...we Americans are now only expected to compare our quality of lives to those in 3rd world countries instead of how we lived in the past or other industrialized nations.

As long as we are better off than the worst off people on the planet, Repugs will still try to convince us everything is great!

34. Prozac
I read an article that the stock market bubble grew so high because of Prozac and people didn't get out when they should have because of Prozac. It masks normal anxiety that allowed people to ride the euphoria up and ignore the warning signals when it was going down.

I remember a local lady I knew, in hysterics over some of the things going on in my town. The doctor put her on something, and within a week she was blaming herself and saying she just had an anxiety disorder all along. Everything is actually delightful here. :eyes:

I suspect anti-depressants is a large part of what's going on. They're great for people with true chemical imbalances, but I think there's alot more prescribing going on than just for organic depression.

I bet they would be surprising. I myself was shocked to find out over the course of the last year most of my friends and colleagues are taking prescription drugs of this kind.

26. They will pass out more kool-aid
Rush and Hannity will pass around more kool-aid and explain that Bush is good for the country contrary to actual evidence and people will say well hey, Gay people cant get married who cares if our children die of diseases and malnutrition. Who cares if we all become serfs to the rich as long as people can own their guns without having to wait, and woman can not get abortions no matter the reason. They will all march happily right off the cliff with the rest of the Lemmings. And we will all still be screaming while the leadership of this party (democrats) still try to appear moderate and go along with some of the Bush republican craziness ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I will believe this till I see people like Hilary Clinton stand up for us little Americans until then I trust none of them as far as I can throw then and if I had my way in 2006 we would start throwing out alot of the corrupt leaders of our party and make sure the new coming in know who is actually paying their salaries! US.
