What a jerk. "Bush was right on Irag" BULLSHIT. He thinks he is the ONLY one that knows anything.

1. Is it a lovefest with Bill? |
|
I know that Maher has changed his tune and now thinks Iraq is a good thing...

2. Yes, it was a love fest. I had to turn it off before I got sick. |
|
I can not tolerate it when he does that. Maher loves that invasion, he truly does.

4. Yes. He has great ideas -- but no conviction to follow through |
|
It is like he doesn't give a shit - enough to stay with what he knows intuitively

5. Bill said something funny. That B** treats the troops so |

badly -- they are like battered woman -- the worse B** treats them the more they love him

13. He's got the troops fooled into believing that they are tough to put up |
|
with the BS that Bush puts them through, when the reality is that it takes even more toughness to stand up to the GOP leadership and the BS they put our troops through.

11. That same evening he was on Charlie Rose! |
|
You could switch channels right after TDS to Rose and watch virtually the exact same conversation all over again, although with a bit more bloviation, given that the second was longer. Friedman's also pretty much recycled the same material into several columns--basically, he's plugging his latest book full time these days.
I really used to like him, but not any more. Not for a long time.

12. I listened to an interview on NPR with him once |
|
and he came off sounding like just about the most despicable human being I've ever heard.
I absolutely detest him.
