Or is it just me? It simply may be the effect of listening to some of the ill informed, unthinking people call in...

People should call in and "call" them on it. It's disgusting.

4. I could be wrong but... |

I believe she was talking about his money-raising schemes, not his intellectual might. I agree that "genius" is too strong a word, and it seems that we have become a nation where smart or genius is a description used too often for behavior that accomplishes a desired result, regardless of the means. Unethical and devious tactics can get you what you want, but, they may also bring you down in the end, which is what we are seeing with delay. Does that convey "genius"? No, I would argue that it shows simple greed, and we need to call all people out, that call it anything else, particularly when they refer to it with a desirable description such as "genius".

not genius. Cleverness should not be confused with intellectual capacity!

6. I agree with "innate cunning"... |

not unlike the instincts of a rabid junkyard dog. I would not even call delay's action "cleverness", however.

7. I don't think she's a fundie... |

and not necessarily a Christian Scientist either. I'm finding it amusing the number of right-wing men who are calling getting all huffy about her use of her maiden name. One idiot said he knew all about Wellesley. As a graduate of Wellesley myself, I can assure you he doesn't know anything. Wellesley graduates all sorts of women, including Republicans (unfortunately).

to be made.
How many people have you seen bring up the blue slip process when rwers get in a huff about the filibuster?
Hopefully you reassessed your opinion.
