Yes, GW Bush Doesn't Tip:
Buried in all the news about Democratic candidates was the lackluster response to the president's partisan state of the union address. The President, kicking off his campaign went on the road.

On tv last night, I saw him stop at a Mexican food resturant, order some ribs, refuse to answer reporters questions, put his arm around a waitress and explain how tax cuts helped her make a living. But when it came time to tip the waitress, the President--who earns 400,000 a year with no rent and little food/travel expenses--forgot to give her one.

Bush looked arrogant. He is too confident of his re-election, and his notes are going to be too hard. So next time somebody says something about Howard Dean yelling tell that person at least Howard Dean--and all of the Democratic candidates--leave tips.

4. No tips AND sexual harassment? Bet he made her day.
I hope his ribs had a little "something special" in them.

My mother always said that you can tell a lot about the character of a person by watching how he or she treats the wait staff. She's so right.

5. A saying in our house is...
If someone is not nice to the waiter/waitress, then they're not a nice person. Tipping for adequate or good service is part of that. What a maroon! He's probably never gone out to dinner on his own, or had to take care of a check before...

Two other measures of character: If you want to know the true character of a man, look at his wife's face. (I don't say that right.. but said correctly, it means that someone can put on a face to the world, but if he has a bad character, it can be seen in his wife's face.. beaten down, sad, nervous, etc.).

And.. Character is who you are when no one is looking.

Does Bush pass those tests???

7. Tipping Tells Volumes
about someone. As someone who used to bartend, I can attest. If he really did stiff the waitress he's going straight to hell.
