Anyone else sick of hearing about Gannon? |
|
I think his fifteen minutes of fame are about up.
I don't care about Gannon. I could care less about his personal life. I don't care that some wingnut group in Texas hired a male prostitute to be a 'reporter'. Quite frankly, that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. It also doesn't surprise me that Eberle used his Texas connections to get access for one of his 'reporters'.
I don't think Gannon was blowing Bush or anyone else in the WH for that matter. That's just my intuition. If you could prove that, well, that would probably be a story. But I doubt it happened.
Gannon's just another right wing loser who works for a right wing loser group in Texas.
That's what I think anyway.
And Gannon is not Gosch. That kind of speculation is just straight up embarrassing, IMO.

6. Nope. How does a hooker get unrestricted access to the WH? |
|
I want to hear EXACTLY how that happened - in detail, please.
Considering I can't get anywhere near the place as an everyday, normal citizen of this great United States.
That is MY house in Washington (as Bill Clinton once famously told me) and it is off limits to every other mbr of the hoi polloi - 'cept for the male escort lobby, it seems.

8. You were tired of hearing about election fraud, too, |

as I remember.
Place your fingers in your ears and say, "La la la la la la la....I can't hear you."
That's being a good citizen, now.

9. I think the Gannon issue... |
|
should be thrown into the repukes faces until some truth is derived. I'm sure Valerie Plame thinks so,too. They repukes had no problem brow beating Clinton about every little thing, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

11. no, not sick of hearing about Gannon |
|
In fact it would make me exceedingly happy to read about him or hear about him every day in the corporate controlled mainstream media and the only chance of that ever happening is if WE don't shut up about him. I say keep it going loud and clear! http://rawstory.com/exclusives/byrne/secret_service_gannon_424.htm

13. "I could care less about his personal life." His personal life |
|
doesn't interest me either. But, then, I've heard next to nothing about it.
His professional life as a male prostitute and White House "correspondent" does interest me, however.
And the story behind his two professions is a smoking gun pointed directly at the rotten soul of the Republican Party.

Now that it's been discovered he often didn't sign in or out of the White House, and had visits that lasted for several hours, it's even more intriguing. And there's a possible Plame leak connection. Curiouser and curiouser!

15. You're completely missing the point. The issue is one of security |
|
Why is a non-reporter with a day pass within arms reach of the President during a press briefing? Also, was he involved in Plame outing...a federal crime.

19. I am not tired of hearing about this person that had unlimited access to |
|
the white house...why was he there when there were no scheduled press briefings, why was he allowed in, without checking in or checking out with secret service?
In this country that is supposed to be on heightened alert due to terrorism, why is there a person allowed into the white house without clearance? Those questions dont bother you...fine...THEY BOTHER ME.
So bring it, the coverage of why a prostitue/reporter is allowed unlimited access. Inquiring minds want to know

17. Gannon is a conduit to so much more |
|
As an individual he is rather insignificant. What is significant is the many questions that his access has wrought and the hypocritical "moral" issues that have been exposed. His background and access are very significant.
They are counting on our short attention span. We stop caring, stop pushing, stop paying attention -- they win in a walk every time about ever thing/any thing they want to do.
Yes, Gannon is important, very important.
For one, how many people can sign into the WH and then never sign out -- or vice versa? How could the Secret Service have done a through background check on him (under his real name) and not have known about his website/professional past. If they didn't do a check, then who vouched for him to get him in in the first place?
Now, we have the question of Gannon being at the WH after the time of a scheduled press briefing while Blair was visiting. Couple that with his bragging about his "entertaining Blair" to his TKE brothers, and we might just have the ingredients for a full international scandal.
It's what he IMPLIES that is important, as well as the avenues of investigation that lie before us that matter.
I, for one, have a long attention span.

There is ALOT more here. Last nights revelations prove that. The bush* White House needs to be forever connected with 8 uncut inches roaming freely around the bush* residence.
However, I do think we have had waaaaaayyyyy too many jesus/pope threads.

You need to look at RAW STORY, at the level of access a putano got to the most secure federal building in the land. Who with any thought or concern about our government would even want this story to get buried? It is important, and not because of any futtbucking, it's all to do with access, news management, spin, PLAME, PLAME, and PLAME...
Laws were broken, and this guy has something to do with it. As for Gosch, I think that whole BS was a RIGHT WING PLANT, to make the left look flaky. But the other shit is warm and pliant, and it STICKS.
Sheesh. There is a feature called ignore, use it if you are sick of a topic.
