Rawstory's Guckert story referenced in Froomkin's column (WaPo)

John Byrne , editor of the Raw Story Web site, has just Web-published extensive Secret Service records documenting numerous White House visits by the man named James D. Guckert -- who called himself Jeff Gannon.

"The Secret Service furnished the records after a Freedom of Information Act request from Reps. John Conyers (D-MI) and Louise Slaughter (D-NY)," Byrne writes.

"Guckert made more than 200 appearances at the White House during his two-year tenure with the fledging conservative websites GOPUSA and Talon News, attending 155 of 196 White House press briefings. He had little to no previous journalism experience, and previously worked as a male escort."

Nail DeLay, indite someone for Plame...then make Gannon a real story and, the coup de gras, allow the truth about election fraud to hit the CM (corporate media). We'll be watching. The TRUTH is an amazing process.

I'm sure Howie "I'm married to a GOP strategist" Kurtz will do his usual tap-dance for the Repukes, calling the whole Gannon situation just another non-starter for hateful Dems.
Of course, he was all a-twitter during the Lewinsky scandal because the White House was supposed to be "our house," and what was that hussy doing there anyway? WE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!
Now that the b.j. is on the other....foot....it's a moot point.
