Excellent Editorial about Tony Perkins in the Times-Picayune today
Mostly geared for Louisianians since Perkins was a "failed" senatorial candidate a few years ago. In 2002, he got his ass kicked by a republican female neanderthal, who in turn got her ass kicked by Mary Landrieu.

"How is it that a failed Senatorial candidate managed to corral the Senate's Majority Leader into participating in his weekend judge-bashing fest, which was built around the poisonous arguments that the third branch of government is running rampant, and that those who oppose a handful of extremely conservative judicial nominees are somehow "against people of faith?"

Very nice editorial indeed. The writer's email address is at the bottom of the post. Drop her a short thank you email. No doubt she will be flooded with hate from the south Louisiana religiously insane.

1. Thanks for sharing that, Bosshog...
I stopped reading the Picayune first thing in the morning during the "kick ass, take their gas" days, but it's becoming evident that the tide has been changing. Although I get all my news from the internet out of habit now, every so often I check the op-ed pages & I'm pleasantly surprised to see more & more letters of dissatisfaction with this administration.

3. Stephanie Grace is a refreshing read
she looks so fragile in her newspaper picture but she rolls up her sleeves and comes out punching in most columns. I get the T-P 7 days a week. I find it a very well put together newspaper and although I live in Mississippi, I'm just a few interstate miles to the french quarter and I like to know what's going on down there.

6. I've always thought it was the best put-together & visually appealing
newspaper than a lot I've seen. I found that out when both my sons were freshmen in high school & needed newspaper articles from multiple newspaper sources in civics class. I bought a lot of major national newspapers on a regular basis back then from a great newspaper/magazine merchant in New Orleans.

That was a few years before WhatsHisFace got into office & the media was hijacked.

7. Thank you very much
There is no doubt she'll be swamped by the lemmings asking her why she hates America.
