Why Does the Moron Keep Banging His Head on the Wall?? |
|
Does he not have better things to do like spring clean the White House or wash the car, or something?? Seriously though, why is Bush doggedly still out there on his SS Tour (and apparently extending it) when the more he speaks, the greater the disapproval of his proposal?? He has absolutely no support - and getting worse by the day - and everyone knows it's DOA. So why does he keep treking around and showing what is a big flaw and weakeness to the public?? Is it to satisfy Schwab and the other owners of this regime that he tried his best? Is it to let his fans fondle him in hopes of keeping GOP politicians elected in those states? What?? I can't figure it out because Georgie despises leading a dead end parade. He wants situtations where he can think of himself as the noble, adored leader. (And it is doing the GOP no good because the people are looking at them as greedy bastards trying to destroy any hopes of staying alive in this country).

1. Because the real reason he is doing this is worth the effort he is |
|
putting out. Whatever it is. It sure isn't to save SS>

5. He doesn't know what else to do |
|
He has to campaign and be out on the road or drinking in Crawford. He doesn't read the newspaper he is pathologically incurious about issues. How do you deal with never being wrong? You push your own BS because that is all you have. His handlers know he is a moron they just need to give him something to do.

16. You are sooooo right!! And |
|
wassup with this "Western" White House crap!!!! Can you imagine how much it is costing us all everytime he goes to Crawford. He is suppose to be in the "peoples" house, not in his own house. But I think this is symbolic of his absolute arrogance. I say if he wants to be in Crawford let all send him back there. If only we could.....

6. FloridaPat----I've been thinking that the end game is Medicare |
|
I don't know why this keeps running through my mind. In other words, he wants to bellow to the public that the terrible Dems would not fix the "totally disasterous" (which is a lie) SS. Then he turns around and says "Medicare is even worse, folks, so you have to really put the pressure on them to stop delaying and tell them to strip this program, blah, blah". The only thing is is that no one is believing him about SS and/or they are sick and tired of him coming up with money for everything else in the world except helping the American people, so I can't see how he can score on either point. But I agree...the bastards are up to something (probably an investment scheme above and beyond SS to feed the Wall Street beast).

9. The "real" reason is... |
|
...that they need to get their hands on this cash and inject it into the equities market/general economy in order to forestall the impending slowdown.
A cash injection of the size they're talking about should jumpstart the economy and keep the house of cards from collapsing just a little bit longer.

12. That's where the opium money from Afghanistan is going. |

I don't think they could get this through fast enough to do much for the market before the economy collapses.

I suspect the reason he keeps at it is so that he can go right ahead with his insane plan and claim that his "tour" showed a "mandate" to proceed. He may have the votes to pull something off.....
watch out....
this guy doesn't quit...he's used to getting his way and he doesn't care what we, or the rest of the country thinks.

10. If he can win this, it will show that he can do ANYTHING |
|
That's worth a bit of a gamble, don't you think? Besides, as a classical uber-male, he can't admit defeat or being wrong.
If he can get his way on something so unpopular with so many and can force the legislators to his will, he can cow and demoralize his opposition and ram through anything he likes. Never forget the need these thugs have to grind their opponents' faces into the gravel and make them cry "uncle".

13. He 'thinks' that by making the same mistake over and over |
|
it makes him "tough" or 'strongwilled' or 'manly' or anything other than his dad who is a well known dweeb.
He 'thinks' he's a tough guy and the thinks 'tough guys' do things like 'don't give up' and 'stay the course', and he loves when Faux compares him to Winston Churchill.
In short, he is a delusional idiot.
