Will the Dem Underground be the last organization to stand up 4 Democracy
The following groups care more about America than the people here who are not doing everything possible to stop the Real ID Act. The Real ID Act is being re-attached to the appropriations bill in Committee. Harry Reid expects the Democrats to cave in the name of sending money to Halliburton. After all, if Halliburton is not paid, Harry Reid will not be happy. This is the most dangerous legislation in the history of America. It is doubful that America will survive the Real ID Act. Those who don't know that the Real ID Act threatens the very lives of everyone in their family are as naive as those who are convinced they will survive hanging out at ground zero in a nuclear attack. Say "no" to death camps. Say "no" to the end of environmental laws. Say "no" to the poisoning of all our food and water. Say "no" to torture and to the re-introduction of slavery. Say "no" to mass murder. Say "no" to the Real ID Act. The following groups have said "no." They are just a fraction of the sizable number of groups who are activily opposing the Real ID Act.

The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)

Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee

1. Here's a good summary of the noxious effects of this bill
http://www.usmlo.org/archive2005/2005-04/vor050418.htm

(I don't know who the U.S. Marxist-Leninist Organization is, and I possibly wouldn't like them much if I did. But they've got the most complete rundown on HR418 that I've seen.)

3. This basically includes all the major civil rights organizations.
I understand that ACORN has come out against the Real ID Act too. Also, the Catholic Church came out against the Real ID Act. Could Kennedy and Kerry be ex-communicated if they fail to oppose it?

4. I guess I better start calling my Senators
I don't want the Democratic Underground to come in in last place.
