Excellent. framing, Harry Reid, and the truth, to boot!

Dubya's failed nominees had a vote on the Senate floor--a cloture vote--and they lost!

Reid is speaking now on the Senate floor.

Damn! Reid says Frist's proposal is a slow motion "nuclear option"--"A big wet kiss to the far right."

3. Senator Harry Reid is so smooth it is great to listen to pure intelligence
Frist is so insipid and with that pissed off looking frown on his mug makes it even worse.

7. The thing
I love with that is Mr. Reid is so cool, calm and collected and his counterpart (Frist) is like a mumbling fool trying to catch himself and save his ass. I love that about him (Reid). He never sweats or anything with these thugs. :) I'm glad he's on our side!

What is the event on this? I'd like to view it on the website when it's up.

9. Reid was speaking on the floor of the Senate. It will be replayed later
tonight, I would expect. But you may well see, Reid's "a big wet kiss to the far right" remark on the evening news since it's already been on cable news.

10. Sweet
Nice. :) Was this for the judges or the filibuster debate? I'm sure it'll be on the CSPAN site later.

11. They are the same argument, actually. Frist offered Reid a lousy deal...

the one Reid called, "a big wet kiss to the far right."

The Rethugs want to deny the filibuster for judicial nominations so they can get an "up or down vote" on the floor of the Senate. They blocked Clinton's nominees from getting an "up or down vote" in committee by various ways.

Now that they have the votes in committee 10-8 and no longer honor the blue-slip tradition, the only way the Democrats have to stop Dubya's Neanderthal nominees to a filibuster on the floor of the Senate.

The Senate rules must be changed for Dubya. He must get all of his judges confirmed.

13. Outstanding!
I'm going to start using that myself when I talk to Repubs. Reid is kicking some serious ass. I am very, very impressed with him!
