Just caught in passing but she was horrified about the proposed base closing in her town and was pleading with Bush and said that he should understand because "he was from here." Now you know that Bush won't like that after all the time he has spent building his image as a "cowboy from Texas." LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

1. You mean ....
he's not really a cowboy from Texas??? I'm shocked! He seems so at home on a ranch, especially when he's riding horses ... oh, wait a minute ... :P

5. New Haven, Connecticut
is not far from Groton (30 miles?), where the "Texas Cowboy" was born. There was a sign on I-95 outside of New Haven which read, "Welcome to the birthplace of George W. Bush". Did they take that down? If they didn't, they certainly SHOULD. Hardly something I would boast about.

7. You got it! Especially for pols who look weak now.
they'll be able to "save" their bases. There will be "DeLay-type" deals trading off losses in some areas for huge gains in other areas. Check out the re/blue map that Olberman showed tonight and you will understand fully what is going on. There will be a few ringers to attempt to show balance but the end result will not be so. The Republicans have always used the military a pawns in their evil chess game of control

8. Bumper Sticker
I recently saw a bumper sticker with a pic of GWB in his cowboy hat. The caption read, "All Hat, No Cattle."

12. Bush lost his 1st Texas race because he was from New
England and considered an outsider. So he bought an oil company and the baseball team to prove he was just another "Texan".

15. I saw her on Countdown, I think
Interesting because the screen showed her as mayor of Portsmouth, Maine and that doesn't exist.

She was probably mayor of Portsmouth, NH which is next to the town where the shipyard is closing. She obviously wasn't from Maine 'cause we don't consider Bush as being from around here at all. He's from away, plain and simple.

:)
