"..anti-American anti-Bush journalism could lose us the war on terror"

"This kind of anti-American anti-Bush journalism could lose us the war on terrorism"

I heard that today from Rush's fill-in Roger somebody or other. He got so wound up about Michael Isikoff's Newsweek article he actually identified himself as "..and this is Michael Isikoff filling in for Rush" going to a commercial.

He stated that these guys in Guantanamo are eating the best food they've ever had and the cleanest sheets they've ever had and the most religious freedom they've ever had and THE AMERICANS GAVE THEM THE KORANS!! the only new Korans they had ever seen.

He actually said that. He I wonder if dittoheads will start vacationing there it sounds so good.

So this is how it is being played out. Discredit (think they will mention it much?) yet another "elite" "liberal" media source (he said that at least 5 times while I was listening).

This stinks more of a set-up than CBS's National Guard documents.

They can smell the end of the "old truth" and the establishment of their "new truth" (a cultish brainwashing technique).

4. He later complain about the establishment of the PBGC
Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation as a part of the ERISA reform of 1974-"Run for your lives when you hear 'reform' it is going to cost you money"- THEN complain that PBGC didn't charge enough to cover pensions, about the United Airlines pension collapse.

This guy was spinning himself in a circle.

A guy called up and said that Bush needs to do something about the exec salaries even when they run pensions into the ground, health care too. The caller said he will never vote Republican again unless BUSH does something NOW! No response from "Roger"

Uh-oh they might just be cluing in.

7. I heard that portion!
Did you notice how he called SS a pension plan several times? He also said "run for your life when someone calls for 'reform'", then discussed SS reform.

16. I was trying to keep the beginning and ending spin in my mind
for this post. I think you are right he did actually call for SS reform. The part at the end about "The only thing guaranteed to you is money you keep everything else is a PROMISE" Really so contracts don't count anymore? Are they just "Worthless pieces of paper"? Are they trying to establish that line of thinking in their listeners? For what end? :scared:

9. Turn the military over to me
Hell, we spend as much on defense as the rest of the fucking world COMBINED, and this inept, corrupt administration is going to lose the war on terror because of a couple of inconvenient news reports? Jesus H. Christ on a crutch! How fucking incompetent do you have to be to fuck things up so badly that even with a huge built-in advantage, it can all be undone by one scribbler's report filed in a minor magazine?

And then they have the nerve to cry about it! Something tells me that even the Melvins took this guy's lunch money all through school.

10. Frank Lutz is working overtime!
They figure they can just lie about the war all together. We "won." Iraq is at peace. Springtime in Baghdad. (Lose the war-oh yes..reporting the truth on how little respect we have for their religion and their lives-I think they already figured that one out by now)

Let's just make all reality up-it's easier that way.

I'm never going to die! This housewife believes she can fly!

13. This is so sick - Does this imply they will say that we WERE winning
until the liberal media reignited the fires of insurgency. Also, I recall Newsweek as being pretty unfair to Kerry.

15. Stop fucking blaming us.
I'm so goddamn sick of this bullshit.

WE didn't want this war. We didn't want the death and destruction of innocents or American soldiers. We WARNED you about this, and you ignored it. Enough already; I'm sick of being the liberal, bleeding-heat scapegoat.

Wonder if he only likes "new" Bibles?

Nothing pre-owned in that fellah's mind-garage, I'm sure.
