Shouldn't we be shoring Dems up to keep their promise and shut the Senate
down?
I mean instead of trying to stop the "nuke option"?
That seems a forgone conclusion so lets move on to what they will do once they do it.
They have the majority of the American people on THEIR side, and at least 50% of Repubs aren't comfortable with it because it looks like they are trying to ram their beliefs down the country's throat.
They need this, I think. They have to prove they are strong and can really fight Bush and they might as well start now.

1. They should have made an ongoing stink since Nov 2
They really dont want to believe that they are anything other than victums....thus making victums out of us all!

I think I'm joining Mike Malloy and get the hell out of the Democratic Party. They wont ever fight for us. You can hope all you like, but they really are in denial.

7. Reid and Pelosi HAVE been trying to fight.
They are on the phone a coupla times a week talking to Howard Dean and threatening members that defect on core issues.
I admit it's like closing the gate after the horse got out but, at least they are aware of the tremendous mistakes they made.
It's up to us now to hold them responsible by voting them out of office, if they stab the country in the back, so they will see we are not playing around anymore.

4. I agree.
If Frist invokes the Republican's nuclear option, Democrats should walk out and not walk back in until Frist admits defeat.

5. It worked in the House
The ethics committee stood on principle and the Repubs blinked first and Dems got everything they wanted.
The Bushies ARE in trouble no matter how much they bluff. That's why Bush's approval rating keeps getting lower and lower.
They should shut it DOWN.
Bush will have a fit and so will his "investors" *ahem*
Then barnstorm the country with their message. The country in general seems to be more open to hear their message thse days.
Even Repubs.
I wonder why?

6. See, THIS is
what we should be emailing them about.
Have Reid make a great speech, then walk.
He won't do that, of course. He'll just tie the Senate up until Frist comes to him with a deal.
