Halliburton Protest Photos and Great Video
It was a protest we could be proud of here in Halliburton's own territory.

Check out the photos and links. The ""Dick Cheney flashed people video" link is in the fourth paragraph. The guy was great. Spring-loaded!!

Hope this posting is not a dupe.

8. Very little talk about this today.
Thanks for the link. I was unable to find any mention on the National Media by Channel Surfing in Minnesota. I am glad we have the ability to save evidence of OUR OUTRAGE to thousands of HardDrives for History and to transmit to the FREE WORLD!!!
Even if our protests have NO effect on bush* or Halliburton, the rest of the World knows that there is an opposition in the US.

Thanks to the opposition in Houston!!!
Every one who gets off their ASS and takes their OUTRAGE to the streets is a HERO. The violence used by the Administration to suppress our voices is escalating. When will the POLICE understand that WE are on THEIR side. The handful of RICH people they are protecting DON"T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEM. They are actively engaged in stealing their pensions, depriving them of benefits, and lowering their wages and those assholes still protect their greedy owners. DUUUHHHH!!!

12. nominated! Let's keep it up, take to the streets! PROTEST
I know everyone is so busy and not really interested in protesting. But this kind of thing is a catalyst for change. We have to let people see us and see that we're angry.

13. That's what I thought
Now THIS was a protest like there had to be before we got the war stopped in Vietnam.

Why, why cannot RWs see how completely screwed they are by supporting policies that allow our tax dollars to be spent this way? Damn the torpedos and body counts--what's up with all the "fiscal conservatives" who are allowing themselves to be pumped by a company like Halliburton charging $27 mill for delivering $87 thou of fuel to Iraq?

How crazy is this? Crazy enough to make me wanna shake my derrick for the camera! (God, I wish I'd thought of that getup. I'm going to have to copycat that guy. Some clever programmer needs to come up with a derrick-shaking smilie.)

14. Houstonians are setting the example for the rest of the nation.
I gotta give it up to these amazing folks in Houston, Texas who are putting many of us in the rest of the nation to shame.

These folks may be smack dab in the heart of a red state, but they are showing great resolve and courage.

I honor them all.

And you know what, Texans admire people of guts and don't think for a second that this isn't causing some serious rippling down there.

20. Actually David, it was not just Houstonians. Activists from all over
Texas and nation converged upon Houston and Halliburton on Wednesday. One of the women injured by a horse was with a group from Dallas. The guy with the Cash Cow came from San Fran and of course, Medea B was there on the inside along with a slew of others.

To all who were able to make it, Cheers to you all. It was far more severe than last year's event.

Report from group that went from North Texas can be found at:

http://www.ntimc.org/

What happened on Wednesday makes last year's protest look like a street festival rather than a protest!

He needs to be investigated. His place is with Halliburton guarding convoys.

I had left the group by the time all of the fighting started to go back to work. This guy looks like a real sweetheart. His picture needs publishing far and wide. Thanks for the link.

19. I saw him, I knew he was trouble the way he was holding his
big billyclub, slapping it in his hands.

I never saw a car come out of the parking garage, wasn't it closed for the protest and the street blocked to keep traffic out.

I wonder how much money Halliburton paid the cops to do this.

I did videotape the protest but haven't looked at it yet. I may have some good stuff on it. I am still to angry, I am trying to calm down.
