We can keep our right to fillibuster as long as we never use it!!!! What a perfect compromise!!!!! Jefferson and Madison would be proud!!! Please call that retard Harry Reid and tell him to embrace this "everybody wins" common sense, patriotic, pro-democracy compromise! That way when the Supreme Court bans any sex that is at all fun our Democratic leaders can sit alone in their beds staring lovingly at their mandatory framed picture of Dick Cheney dressed as Jesus confident of the fact that had the power to have fillibustered Chief Justice Lynndie England. God bless us all.

1. I agree. What good is the filibuster if we never use it? At least |
|
if it gets nuked away, the Rethugs will be blamed, and we will have it out of our way if the Dems ever get back in power again in Congress. With this compromise, we might as well let them take the filibuster away, since it's totally useless anyway.

A compromise will be lost on the public. And we will only get the filibuster if it ain't used. When it comes time for the Supreme Court, they will change the rules again anyway. I think we are lost.
