Bill Frist made the decision to go after the right-wing vote...
Because he is confident the road to the presidency goes thru the Southern Baptist Convention. The nominee for the Republican Party must have the support of Phyliss Schlafly and James Dobson in order to win the nomination. Bill Frist is certain of this. His intent is to "right-wing" every other candidate that may be thinking of taking the place of George W Bush in 2008. This is the bottom line with Bill Frist, in my opinion.

3. And other wannabes are aware of this also....
So Frist is making enemies within his own Party, in my opinion. Politics will stab you in the back quicker than anything.

4. Frist making his self into another Barry Goldwater
Bush did it through stealth. Frist's ass is out there for everyone to see right now.

5. OK, playing devil's advocate here: Pickles for Puppet in 08!
They will need something of a dark horse to make the vote fraud results seem plausible. They need someone without ambition all the better to control my dears. Frist fails that test with both a highly visible record and clear ambition.

The junta falls all over it's self with pride about how many minorities they have put in high places. Hey, it is damned hard work finding that many people of color who are willing to eat their own and serve their own souls up to the massers.

Who better than Pickles?

1. Dark horse, no record ('cept that vehicular murder thing, but that won't be held against her) for an opponent to point out and run against

2. No ambition. check! Let her have her Desperate Housewives and she's fine.

3. Hey, lookie what a big tent we have! We are running a woman! Can't call us on being against women! Neener neener neener, got the soccer mom vote all tied up. And NASCAR dads love her too, so there!

Program the computers, have one of the twins wear the green shoes, and it's a cakewalk. Don't even have to pay to move anything out of the WH.

With Frist, the fat cats would have to make more cuts in the pie to pay off his particular group of rich bastards, hospitals. Will Big Pharm and Big Insurance want that? Not bloody likely. They would rather 'make the pie higher' so those nuevo-rich hospital boys can't get their thumbs in it.
