...and another thing...
Just as Howard Dean mentioned this AM on MTP, we should not surrender our morals to this bunch of hypocrites. It is moral and "Christian" to want to feed hungry children, to want to take care of our elderly parents with Social Security, to search for peace rather than war, to speak out against greed, and to teach tolerance to our children rather than hatred.

We are a moral and "Christian" Party. People like Rush Limbaugh and Tom Delay have no right, have no right, to criticize the morals or lack of morals in our Party. They are hypocrites.

1. I loved Dean on MTP.
He took back nothing and stuck to his guns.

I was actually able to watch the whole thing. Usually I can take two minutes of pundit shows before I have to restrain myself from throwing something. He never let Russert put him on the defensive and he never let him take over.

3. Russert was definitely out to get him
but Howard completely owned everything he said.

No retreat, no surrender.

4. Is Russert usually out to get everybody?
Or just Dems. He goes for the irrelevant "gotcha" instead of the true meat and potatoes news.

When he interviewed Kerry, for instance, he went for the Smear Vets and that damn form, harping over and over. That topic wasn't important to anyone but freepers. But Kerry was able to get in some points anyway.

I didn't get to see it, but I assume that Tim did the same to Dean, trying for the "gotcha"

6. He was WAY
trying for the gotcha:

"On January 4th, you said you hated republicans, and on January 6th, you said that republicans were evil. Don't you think that's appalling and inappropriate? Please explain yourself."

There's a link floating around to a video of the show online in one of the other threads.

2. Yes, I liked this part alot
He did goof a bit on the Bible quote but reasonable people got the gist of what he meant. And I liked it when Dean called the Delays & Co. Pharisees.

5. As a liberal Christian
I love that too. I've actually thought of them like that myself. That exact word: Pharasees.
