What do people at DU think about the Cheney 08 talk? Why is this happening now? Could this be a smoke screen? Could it be that Republicans are planning on picking someone else and are just using Cheney to scare people? During the election Cheney said that he had no plans to run for president. Did he do that so people would vote for Bush again? Does anyone think any of this is real?

Even the GOPukes are too smart to put someone with a medical history like his up for election. I don't know who the Dems could nominate who could be seen as worse than a President who could drop dead the first time a major crisis occurred.

5. I have been saying Cheney/Jebbie myself

I think "Cheney" will promise BFEE that he would serve only one term and then past the post on to Jebbie..... that way we would not have back to back Bushs.

He is such a snake. In the VP debates, he said he initially told * that he would be the ideal VP since he had no ambition to be pres. Of course now he has a taste for power, and will probably throw his hat in the ring. He no doubt feels like he is already president since he is controlling everything through his chimp puppet.

What a perfect candidate! I hope he runs and gets the nomination, we would win in a landslide.

He has a heart of stone so that won't be a problem..personally I think he used his condition from day one as a way out if their plan did not work..Jeb as a running mate ...well why pick someone that can think for himself..
