Chaos in the Republican party when Hillary does not run in 08!!
All the money being poured into "smear Hillary" campaigns now and all the attention and planning on fighting Hillary in 08 will give the real Dem candidate a chance.

2. That's probably what her ploy is....
They're letting the freakin' freepnoids spend all their time, effort, and funds on speculation..

Hillary and the Big Dog aren't dumb.. They know what they're doing. ;)

And I'll bet you anything she will NOT run.

Why spoil the party now though?

16. That would require putting what is good for the country ahead
of her own political ambitions (fat chance). H.C. is another ask not what I can do for my country but "what my country can do for me" politician.

3. They want her to run BADLY
Understandable, given that they already spent $70 million of our money investigating her for dirt.

It's just cheaper.

4. My feelings, too.
Hillary draws lots of fire from the Repugs. Repugs waste effort, money, and significant breath demonizing Clinton. It very well might let another candidate achieve a foothold significant enough to achieve success. Remember, Wesley Clark is an Arkansas friend of the Clintons.

6. Too many Hillaryphiles here
for that theory to get legs here. They're going to have to go down with the ship before they recognize this particular reef, and corporate media is only aiding and abetting their mania (no surprises there). Problem is, they're taking US with them!

Personally, I don't think the dems have an ice cube's chance in hell in '08 regardless of who they run, since they're pretending the touchscreen voting thing isn't a problem (whistling past the graveyard perhaps?). :tinfoilhat:

7. I don't want a dynasty of any kind....even if Bill could run again,
I wouldn't vote for him. As it is there are too many old cronies creating the problems now.

Everybody in that town has something on everybody else. It's blackmail gridlock and WE suffer for it.

My solution is to make every elected official wear a clown mask from the moment s/he declares the intention to run for office. It'll keep the fame junkies out and put an honest face on the daily goings-on in DC

9. I seriously believe to the core of my being
Edited on Tue May-31-05 10:55 PM by Clarkie1
that a Clark nomination by the Democratic Party would throw the whole right-wing apparatus into near total collapse and disarray.

I don't believe anyone on the other side is planning for that contigency, because they don't believe it will ever happen, and if it looks like there is a chance they will do everything in their power through the MSM to discount even the possibility as being credible.

10. BTW... I checked. The Freepers told their freaks to vote YES on Hillary
I cannot stand to go to that disgusting hell hole of a website, but I had to check.

You guessed it.. they were telling their brain-dead members to cast a YES vote on Hillary.

And so they did >> http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1412117/posts

And you know damn well that ReTHUGS that didn't even see the freak-poll still have the same mindset.

Face it.. ..it would be a dream come true for them. The'll freep every Hillary '08 poll they get a chance to freep.

The numbers are BOGUS.

14. I almost feel sorry for them.
Can you imagine the looks on their faces when she doesn't run, and all the political energy, money, and fearmongering they put out will have been for naught? The only way it could be worse for them, if she actually ran and won.

If that happens....
