2. Schultz is spreading the RW rumor that Dean isn't |
|
raising enough money. I'm listening to him now. I don't know where Schultz is getting his information, unless it's from the Bush supporter who wrote the Businessweek article.

5. Talks about fundraising |
|
Dean says it's whining and they are ahead of where they were 2 years ago. Behind republicons but ahead of 2 years ago.
Says fundraising information is more gossip than factual. They are investing in telling Americans why they should be Dems. Stuff like chimp undoing private pensions and talking about balancing budgets.

9. Republicans: $26.2 million Dems: $7.2 million |
|
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=1824424&mesg_id=1824424" DNC raised $14.1 million in the first quarter of 2005, vs. the Republican National Committee's $32.3 million. Dean drew about 20,000 new donors, while his rivals picked up 68,200. The bottom line: Republicans have $26.2 million in the bank vs. $7.2 million for the Dems." http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/05_23/c393...It looks like we're going to be a minority party for years to come....

11. Yes you keep posting this information |
|
in a manner one might almost call "gleefully." Chairman Dean said those numbers were wrong. Did you hear him?

6. Schultz says sense that Dems are too passive on issues |
|
what do Dems stand for?
Dean says we need a real message and a national message. Says we need a positive agenda--fiscal responsibility, health care, party of change and reform including votig reform and making sure votes get counted.
How does he get along with Reid and Pelosi? He gets along well with Reid, but doens't really talk about Pelosi. Says we'll find out about the "deal" made by the 14 when it comes time.
Says Dean isn't even on a hard line, he's on a cell phone. (Oh big fucking deal) and he couldn't get ahold of Dean for 6 months.
Dean says he's only been chair for 3 months! LOL.
Does Dean have an audio strategy/radio strategy? Yeah and he'll get the information to him. Dean says he seems like he's mad Dean hasn't been on Schultz's show. Damn right I am, Ed says. We're 17 mos away from midterms but nobody knows that except for people in Kansas and there's lots of frustration nationwide among Democrats etc.

I've not listened to this Ed Schulz, but I've seen some threads here about his show. Not sure I'm particularly interested in hearing him now. Good grief, Ed, give the man a chance, will ya?

8. Ed is turning me off on listening to him... He was too hard with Dean |
|
Dean said, we had raised more money now than, we did two years ago on off year. Dean also said, wherever Ed got his information is NOT true! Like I'd said, sometimes, Ed open up his mouth before finding out the fact!

10. I really hope that Schultz does not become the Limbaugh of |
|
the "left."
We don't need that. He's going to have to learn to evaluate his sources.
