First, we have the perennial flag desecration constitutional amendment. This time, the GOP didn't even bother having a hearing, not showing much respect for the first ever amendment which would limit the first amendment.

Also, they are moving several bad liability bills: A gun liability bill that would make it easier for terrorists to acquire guns; an obesity bill that would preempt a single lawsuit brought against fast food companies -- talk about special interest; and a so-called "lawsuit abuse" bill, that would change the federal rules of civil procedure to make it harder to bring civil rights suits and easier for foreign corporations to avoid liability.
