THE BUSH GOSPEL for all your Sunday Services!
We will begin our service with "The Gospel According to Bush" which states as follows:

6:19 "Lay not up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal :
6:20 "But lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where we can break through and steal :
6:21 "For where your treasure is, there will our hand be also."

Can I get an AMEN?

SOURCE: The Bush Gospel, Sinner Matthew, Chapter 6, Verses 19, 20 and 21.

And now we go to the previous Chapter of 'Bush Family Values entitled:

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO
GEORGIE ‘Doh’bya BUSH,
DICKIE ‘Go Fuck Yourself’ CHENEY
DONNIE ‘Know-It-All Except Abu Ghraib’ RUMSFELD
CANDY ‘Me So Yummy Horny’ RICE
ANNIE ‘The Bitch is Back’ COULTER
RUSHIE ‘Pills’ LIMBAUGH
BILLIE ‘Shut Up!’ O’REILLY
AND ALL WHO WORSHIP THEM

“5:1 And deceiving the multitudes, he went up into Washington : and when he was set, his disciples came unto him :
“5:2 And he opened his mouth, and mesmerized them, by crooning,
“5:3 Damned are the poor in spirit : for theirs is the kingdom of hell.
“5:4 Damned are they that mourn : for they shall be disconsolate.
“5:5 Damned are the meek : for they shall inherit nothing.
“5:6 Damned are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness : for they shall remain empty.
“5.7 Damned are the merciful : for they shall obtain no mercy.
“5:8 Damned are the pure in heart : for they shall see Satan.
“5.9 Damned are the peacemakers : for they shall be called the children of Satan.
“5:10 Damned are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake : for theirs is the kingdom of hell.

And for all y'all's Sunday School assignment, all you liberals should memorize Chapter 5, Verse 9: “Damned are the peacemakers : for they shall be called the children of Satan.”

SOURCE: The Bush Gospel, Sinner Matthew, Chapter 5, Verses 3 through 12.

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!

2. Ignorance On Display
It is Christianity that is intolerant, it is large number of today's Christians that are intolerant.

I am a devout Christian but one that sees the light as well.

Don't paint the world with such a broad brush. :)

9. I do support same sex marriage.
I am for equal rights for all Americans... including gays. This is America and freedom shall reign.

Pro-choice also.

I understand. How do those views square with my faith, well... here are my thoughts on homosexuality. I'm a 100% straight, 17 y/o male btw.

I believe that being gay is not a biological abnormality, nor is it a perversion of sexual feelings. Being gay is not a sexual matter, but rather a matter of the heart. People know they are gay before they've even had homosexual sex. The biological abnormality argument against homosexuality forces the teleological view of sex to be accepted. This means that ALL sexual relations that occur for any reason other than procreation are wrong. Masturbation? WRONG if you think the purpose of sex is procreation. Oral sex? WRONG AGAIN.

Religiously I think homosexuality is just as much a sin as EVERY OTHER sin. Engage in premartial sex? You're in the same boat as homosexuals...I'm not trying to convict anyone and say oh you shouldn't have premarital sex. My point is that if you are so utterly offended by homosexuality and yet ignore millions of your own sins and transgressions, then that it not walking in the path of Christ. I do have homosexual friends, of both genders, and I love them no more or less than straight friends. I don't mind homosexuality, I don't think it's any great blight...I think it's love. And if you'd like to love someone, please do. I have nothing against people wanting to signify their love through marriage. Although I am young and have never married, I don't see same sex marriage as a "threat" to my marriage (future marriage) as it is played up to be.

It's all cool though, I understand that Christians have a bad rep with most liberals when it comes to politics. But I look to God for guidance and not Bill Frist or Bush. Thats where the difference comes in. A big one at that...

-EDIT- for clarity

3. The difference may just be in the spelling...
One should be spelled Krischan and the other remain spelled as cult.
Jesus was tolerant of most of His contemporary Human Beings with the primary exceptions being the Money-Changers and the High-Church Muck-a-Mucks! (Sorry for using the technical jargon.)

6. The problem is the bastardized Christianity that the bushbots
seem to have created out of equal parts of Leviticus, Paul, and John Calvin. It's self serving as hell, is completely counter to the words of Jesus Christ, and has all the earmarks of a cult.

Mainstream Christians are pretty nice folks, especially the ones who don't use those stupid little bible study workbooks and have read the New Testament for themselves and try to live by those words.
